‘International CEO Roundtable of Chinese and Foreign Multinational Corporations’ is a large-scale international conference jointly held by China International Institute of Multinational Corporations, the United Nations Development Programme, UN Conference on Trade and Development, United Nations Industrial Development Organization, United Nations Environment Programme and UN Global Compact Office. Two sessions have been successfully held and widely acclaimed by the global community. The theme of the ‘3rd International CEO Roundtable of Chinese and Foreign Multinational Corporations’ is ‘Cooperate with joint efforts, bridge over difficulties and promote development’, and it will have its grand opening on November 13-15, 2009 at the China World Hotel in Beijing.
By then, leaders from the Chinese state, National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of the Industrial and Information Technology, Ministry of Commerce, Development Research Center of the State Council, State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration of the State Council, Ministry of Environmental Protection, the People's Bank of China, China Banking Regulatory Commission, Securities Regulatory Commission, Insurance Regulatory Commission , the National Energy Board, the Beijing Municipal Government, All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and leaders from other ministries and departments, as well as the United Nations officials, foreign Chamber of Commerce in China, Chinese and foreign business leaders from the top 500 companies will attend and give speeches at the conference or the relevant forums or participate in the dialogues.
The conference will focus on the theme of ‘Cooperate with joint efforts, bridge over difficulties and promote development’. After the opening ceremony, forums on ‘Transformation and Transition under Financial Crisis’, ‘Finance and Capital’, ‘Clean Energy and Environment’, ‘Bring in’ and ‘Go Global’ will be held. Zero-distance dialogue and barrier-free discussion concerning the hot, doubtful and difficult issues will be carried out.
