Singapore Chamber of Commerce & Industry in China (SingCham) is recruiting an Executive Director to oversee its entire operation in China, including financial and membership management, creation of events and training programs and relevant services, as well as corporate communications, Government and industry relations, etc. Under the direction and advice of the Management Committee, he/she will drive strategic initiatives and build relationships with stakeholders, develop and lead best practices to continually improve operational performance.

Responsibilities:
* The incumbent will report directly to Secretary General, manage the secretariat in Beijing, and help supervise the other secretariats in other parts of China.
* Develop & implement SingCham's program (including events, activities, and services) to fulfill SingCham's mission & strategic goals.
* Expand membership nation-wide
* Promote Singapore and help Singapore companies to network on doing business in China.
* Work closely with both the Chinese and Singapore Government agencies and business communities.
* Be responsible for SingCham's financial health.

Requirements:
* The ideal candidate should have at least a University Degree.  .
* Minimum 10 years of managerial experience,( preferably at least three years of work experience in China).
* A visionary & principled leader with integrity, and is resourceful & creative

* Possess good working knowledge of core business principles, especially in strategic management, marketing & corporate governance.
* Interested in current affairs including political, socio-economic, etc.
* Possess good connections with both public and corporate sectors in both China and Singapore
* Possess good communication & interpersonal skills and is effectively bilingual in English & Chinese.
* Possess high organisational & motivational skills.
* Proven record of improving P&L performance.
