Client: A multi-national company which provides water treatment, wastewater treatment and process systems solutions.

Summary
Working as part of a ICFC Team and the global engineering team focused on designing equipment products for the water treatment industry the Mechanical Design Engineer will provide complete mechanical infrastructure support to *** products and projects including localizing product designs for Chinese markets.  The position reports functionally to the Process and Applications Engineering Leader Greater China and operationally to the respective ICFC Project Manager.

Responsibilities
• Evaporator Process Engineer will be responsible for process design for evaporator based projects including materials direction of appropriate data collection, materials selection and participating with other Process,
• Design and Cost Engineers to develop and evaluate process alternatives.
• Working with Sourcing the Evaporator Process Engineer will develop product designs that meet local market conditions in terms of cost and materials availability as well as performance specifications. 
• Working with the respective Project Manager, Sourcing and others, the Evaporator Process Engineer will manage creation and maintenance of the documents associated with product designs.

Qualifications/Requirements
• Minimum of Tertiary level education in Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years experience in mechanical design, field applications and troubleshooting for process applications in the chemical processing or refining in the industries with a focus on distillation processes, phase separation and with a strong materials background.
• Working knowledge of design tools and standards from around APAC
• Good technical writing skills
• Working knowledge of English language
