The Beijing BISS International School (BISS) is an independent, co-educational day school offering an English language international curriculum for expatriate children. BISS is part of the ISS Singapore Education Group and was started 1994 with nearly 400 students from 40 different nationalities. BISS is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School and was the first school in Beijing and one of the first in China to provide the full IB program from Kindergarten to Grade 12. 

BISS is authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization to run the full IB Program comprising the Primary Years Program (PYP); Middle Years Program (MYP) and IB Diploma (DP).  It is accredited by the National Centre for School Curriculum and Textbook Development (NCCT) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC); and licensed by the Beijing Education Commission.  BISS is also a member of the Council of International School (CIS), the East Asian Regional Council of Overseas Schools (EARCOS), and was a founding member of the Association for China and Mongolia International Schools (ACAMIS).
