POSITION TITLE: Cost and Contract Controlling Manager

LOCATION: Tianjin, China

BACKGROUND:   

The Company is a major general contracting company of offshore oil and gas E&P projects. It is engaged in the business of design and construction of offshore oil and gas E&P projects and their offshore terminals, the construction and installation of wharf steel structures, the laying of submarine pipelines and cables, the loading, transportation, installation and commissioning of jacket platforms, and the testing and maintenance of offshore and onshore facilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
 Facilitate compliance to contracts, advise and guide project management team on contractual matters;
 Interpret contracts and assist the project management team in its application;
 Account for cost control, reporting, and provide commercial advice to senior management during project development and execution;
 Coordinate contractual issues related to projects;
 Tender, evaluate and award subcontracts;
 Resolve contractual financial disputes;
 Review project correspondences received and advise any problem areas together with identification of any changes, additions and deletions to the contract;
 Monitor and control contract variances identified within the project;
 Ensure seamless integration between purchasing and sub-contract objectives;
 Draft all contractual correspondence and ensure follow up;
 Prepare contract supplements;
 Ensure that notices and certificates are issued and received in accordance with both the main contract and subcontracts.

REQUIREMENTS:

 Minimum Bachelor degree in Engineering;
 8 - 10 years of contract management experience in the oil and gas industry;
 Desire to work and collaborate in intense, result driven and changing environment with multiple projects;
 Demonstrate significant personal initiative, assertive, diplomacy and ability to quickly build effective working relationships with clients and project team;
 Comfortable with business travel;
 Fluency in English and Mandarin is a must.
