Overall purpose of job:
1. To oversee the strategic development of the Resort.
2. To ensure the efficient operation.
3. To maximize profitability.
Main activities:
1. Development
To generate profits from development of the residential villas and apartments in the resort.
To ensure development of residential villas and apartments are in accordance with all relevant government and Company’s guidelines and regulations
To actively manage the development and sale of residential units.
To ensure all residential units are built on time, on budget, and of good quality to satisfy the needs of the customers.
2. Operations
To ensure overall profitability for the entire operations.
To maintain and surpass existing quality of the golf resort.
To continuously improve service quality at reduced overall costs.
To regularly review operational systems to maximize effectiveness and efficiencies.
3. General
To report regularly to shareholders on all aspects of the resort.
To maintain existing and develop new relationships with local government authorities and officials.
To provide overall leadership to the development and operations teams.
To ensure positive cashflow for the resort.
To regularly review and implement policies on safety in operation and development.
To regularly review and implement all HR policies.
To ensure that all internal guidelines and procedures (including Finance, HR, Marketing) are implemented. Special requirements (tools and equipment used, external ontacts): Strong analytical and good communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge & skills:
1. Held senior management positions in service organizations.
2. Proficient in PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
3. Working knowledge in areas of finance and law.
Education, qualifications & special training:
University or college degree with general English language skills.
Good in Putonghua, especially verbal and reading skills.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ working experience.
Personality traits:
Integrity, entrepreneurial, dependable , pleasant and systematic worker. Strong leadership skills.
Physical requirements:
Medically fit.
Remuneration:
RMB70,000 per month, plus expatriate package
