Job Title: Manager
Business Unit: Marketing, Greater China (based in Beijing)
Report To: Director of Marketing – Greater China
Geographical Coverage: responsible to 16 cities and 16 business lines (subject to change as business progress)
SUMMARY
Key roles and responsibilities of a Manager, Marketing, Greater China are to:
I. Take principal responsibility for the planning and implementation of GC Marketing initiatives and strategies.
II. Manage clients' relationship via e-marketing, client events, marketing collaterals (copywriting, proof-reading) and work closely with GC Corp Comm, GC BL heads and 16 offices’ MDs (channel through Senior MDs)
III. Carry out any other assignments as directed by Director, Marketing– Greater China or the management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
1. Identify, plan and execute GC Marketing strategies and programs.
2. Develop and manage client events (e.g. Office Openings) to facilitate and reinforce market/brand awareness.
3. Develop and maintain GC Marketing collaterals (office capabilities, BL capabilities), support new business lines
4. Identify co-operation opportunity with chamber of commerce, EIU, professional bodies like Corenet, RICS etc to ensure high-level visibility in the local market.
5. Effectively manage and update database, master the use of company's software: RECD and Campaign Logic for e-marketing
6. Promote and encourage brand visibility to ensure consistency of brand-related initiatives for local offices (through use of hoardings, banners and flag etc)
7. Ensure timely updates and maintenance of corporate websites.
8. Effectively source, manage and supervise external vendors (booth for sponsored conference)
9. Work closely and cooperate with the Greater China Marketing team, Corporate Communications team and the local Managing Directors (mainly with two senior MDs), BL Heads and Personal Assistants to Managing Directors.
10. Carry out any other assignments as directed by the Director, Marketing - Greater China and senior management.
REQUIREMENTS
• Fluent spoken and written skills in both English and Chinese.
• A university degree in communications/journalism/public relations/marketing or related discipline with at least five years of relevant experience.
• Experience working for a regional Marketing corporate role, familiar with database management and e-marketing, online marketing.
• Proficient user of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and refined knowledge of computer tools.
• Good communication, planning/organization, inter-personal skills.
• Proactive, independent, self-motivated and creative.
• Committed, highly flexible, and willing to learn and take up new responsibilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
