Asia Talent Pool Program
At Philips, we believe in getting our future High-Potentials off to a strong start. That's why we created our Asia Talent Pool Program. Running now for the ninth time, the program provides a specially selected group of individuals with the opportunity to grow their careers rapidly and rise to leadership positions, through our High-Potential Career Development Program.
The carefully structured program offers a mix of activities. This includes a week-long business orientation, project-based coaching and opportunities to build networks with fellow talents from across the region. This intensive High-Potential Career Development Program will provide you with one-to-one coaching/mentoring by our senior management right from the first day, full support from the Country Talent Manager on your development plan, and the opportunity to participate in the High-Potential Development Center within the next year.
Do you have what it takes to be a Philips Talent?
We are looking for Talents with:
• A good Engineering Degree in a related field; Master's Degree preferred
• 6 - 8 years of relevant experience in an MNC
• Ability to deliver results by motivating and inspiring those around you
• Skills to manage innovation in an international, multi-disciplinary business environment
• Entrepreneurial spirit to grasp business opportunities and the drive and determination to lead them to fruition
• Strong influencing skills, coupled with a natural ability to lead and take on challenges
• Experience/excellent track record in some of the following areas:
- R&D of electronics products and systems
- Management of people/processes
- Interaction with Marketing (and preferably with customers)
- Product development within strict timelines involving cross-functional collaboration
• Excellent communication skills; fluent in English and preferably in one or more local languages
Recruitment Process:
• Interview with our Talent Recruitment team
• 1½ day at our Assessment Center in Singapore, where you'll learn more about the Company and businesses, as well as your leadership potential, through evaluation exercises/business scenarios in which your performance will be evaluated by senior business managers
• Matching of your ambitions with your preferences, and identifying opportunities we think will provide you with the best fit
