Executive Director (Established Chinese Food Manufacturer)

The Client

A leading company which focuses on food exports to most parts of the world. The company sells processed vegetables to Europe and various export markets. 

The client offers a very good career opportunity as well as international training and corporation with the best in their business. They are seeking an Executive Director who will be based in Putian, Fujian province
 

The Job

- This job position will be based in Putian, Fujian Province.

- Well acquainted with the PRC working culture which is still very much prevalent in the company and the overall industry the company is operating in.

- Strong financial/controls experience

- Must have a good grasp of financials and management reporting as he will oversee the current CFO and finance function of the company.

- Effectively bilingual as this person will also act as the bridge between the current shareholders and the CEO

- If the company goes public, he/she is to serve as the face of the company with public investors.

- Require to travel frequently with CEO to also assist in the business development (overseas), continued expansion and M&A activities across China.

- Ideally, the candidate should have some experience working in an MNC setting, familiar with best practices, particularly in the finance function

- Possible candidates may include current CFOs who wish to transition to a broader level of management and responsibility

- Experience in Food and Beverage industry would be advantageous. Manufacturing background is a plus.

- Compensation will be competitive and will include stock options
