Hunan Resources Director - based in Beijing

Our client is an investment banking and private equity firm focusing on cross-border opportunities between and the global community 

 

Responsibilities:
• The incumbent will report to the CEO and be responsible for Recruitment & Staffing, Compensation & Benefits and Performance Management.
• Participate in designing HR Strategic Business Plan and ensure its smooth implementation.
• Maintain high level of communication with Management and contribute in decision-making.
• Actively support business initiatives and business needs with effective HR measures to promote positive employee relations in the work environment.
• Build an environment to foster open communication and employee involvement.
• Create HR programs, policies and procedures to convey Company's core values and culture.
• Ensure all aspects of staffing, employee relations, employee development, compensation & benefits for all employees of the organization are delivered in a timely manner and in accordance with relevant labour & commercial legislation, corporate guidelines and general HR Management practices.
• In charge of C&B surveys and interpret the result as well as propose C&B strategies to Management.
• Work closely with Management and line managers on semi-annual salary review.
• Co-ordinate support and drive development initiatives in the areas of training, career & succession planning and other organizational development efforts.
• Manage personnel planning, annual salary & promotions, salary adjustments for defined areas in accordance with corporate processes.
• In charge of semi-annual performance appraisal:
• Introduce performance appraisal framework to line managers and employees.
• Conduct Performance Management training to new employees.
•Generate C&B suggestions and people development plans referring to the performance appraisal result.
• Ensures strong HR reporting for respective functional areas in close cooperation with Finance.

 

Requirements:
• The ideal candidate should have at least a University Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or its equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience with MNC(s) and strong in Recruitment, HR Management, Rewards and Training & Development.
• Effectively bilingual in English & Chinese with excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Must be easy-going, mature, sharp, smart, open-minded, people-oriented, responsible and able to take challenges & work under pressure.
