The Global Immersion Programme (GIP) is initiated as a component of the New Undergraduate Experience in the Nanyang Technological University (NTU). It aims to provide NTU students the experience of studying and working abroad.
Through this programme, NTU students will have the opportunity to develop an edge in their career, build a global network and achieve significant personal development by spending a semester abroad. Students going to China, India and Vietnam also have the chance to be professionally attached to multinational companies, leading companies and start-ups in well known hi-tech parks.
NTU, Business China and SingCham China co-organised a "Go-East" Talk on 22 Jan to prepare a group of some 150 NTU undergraduates for their 22-week immersion in Beijing and Shanghai, aimed to commence in February.
