SingCham Guangdong organized a Business Visit to Foshan on Nov 29, which was led by Mr Ang Chay Chuan, Singapore's Consul-General in Guangzhou. More than 40 members joined the visit.
The visit focussed on visiting Singapore invested companies in the area. The delegation visited Foshan Creative Industry Park, a flagship project in Foshan Chancheng District; Eagle Ceramic Group, a Singapore listed Company and the only overseas listed ceramic enterprise in Guangdong; Keppel Logistic Foshan Lanshi Port, a Grade II national port; CapitaLand Foshan – The Riviera, a high class residential zone in Foshan district; and Southern Packaging Group, a Singapore listed Company and a key player in the PRC packing industry.
During the visit, the participants also had a chance to interact with the Deputy District Chief and other officials from Foshan Chancheng Government, and shared view on Foshan and gained good experience from senior managers of those Singapore invested companies.
The event was supported by Wilin International Ltd, Guangzhou Keyoptics Co.Ltd, Korel Sourcing and Swissotel Foshan.
