
In collaboration with Hill & Knowlton and EastWest Public Relations, SingCham conducted a seminar themed “The Practice of Public Relations in China” on 23 April in Beijing, at Singapore Tourism Board office.
Mr Esmond Quek (esmond.quek@hotmail.com), Chief Executive for Hill & Knowlton China, shared his knowledge on the importance of corporate communications, including brand management, corporate social responsibility, media management, media responsibility and integrity, the social media explosion and instant mobile reporting, and employer branding.
Esmond concluded his session by sharing ten ideal best practices of public relations.
On the other hand, Mr Jim James (jim@eastwestpr.com), Founding Director for EastWest Public Relations, imparted his knowledge on how to secure public relations coverage at minimal or no cost. He also shared with the audience his view and way of addressing “transportation fee” issue for the local journalists.
SingCham plans to replicate this seminar in Shanghai in June.
