On 10 April, Thursday, some 50 members from SingCham and the Singapore Students' Association in Beijing met the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee at Raffles Beijing Hotel.
Headed by Mr Ng Ser Miang, Chairman for the 2010 Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee and Mr Teo Ser Luck, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports, the delegation briefed and shared with the congregation the preparation, the vision and the objectives of the Games.
The participants were most eager to learn more about the event and shared their views and suggestions on issues such as involvement of Overseas Singaporeans, how Singapore schools and students could participate, etc.
The session ended at 8:30pm.
