More than 130 members and friends from SingCham and MayCham had great fun at the Christmas Party at Raffles Beijing Hotel on 15 Dec afternoon. The guests were treated to a sumptuous buffet with both traditional Christmas goodies and typical Singaporean food.

Christmas is a festive of joy and celebration, and also a festive of caring and sharing. Representatives from the China Welfare Foundation for Disabled Persons, China Red Cross Society, and China Youth Development Foundation were invited to the party, with donation boxes set up at the dining hall, allowing guests to show care and concerns for the society.

A group of students from Hwa Chong Institution sang 《细水长流》 and "Merry Christmas" at the party. They are here in Beijing for six months under the Bi-Cultural Programme. In December, SingCham arranged for a two-week industrial attachment for these students, including attachment at garment factory, real estate company, etc.         

 14-year old 张呈 performed magic show and 四川变脸 at the party.

 With a 60% “hit-rate”, 79 lucky winners walked away with prizes including luxurious hotel and resort stay.
