Join us for a day trip to the Beijing eastern country side and visit the Silver Fox Cave, Lugou Bridge and Chinese People’s Anti-war Memorial Hall.

About the places of interest:

Silver Fox Cave (or Yinhu Cave)
The 2-metre long fox-like stalactite in the Cave is truly incredible. The Cave is characterized by karsts landscape wonders and clear underground rivers.  Our trip includes a boat ride along the grotto’s rivers.

Lugou Bridge (Also know as Macopolo Bridge)
Stroll on this 800 years old ancient bridge with uncountable number of lion status is one of the highlights of our trip.  A stone monument stands at one end of the bridge reads the popular Chinese phase, “Lugouxiaoyue” which means “the moon rises from Lugou Bridge”.  Chinese couples like to watch the moon rises from this beautiful construction.  It is also an historical site of the Anti-Japanese War on July 7, 1937.

银狐洞   京西60km处的一座的大山下，隐藏着另一个神秘的世界——银狐洞。
 
银狐洞是一个巨型的地下溶洞群，已探明长度超过10公里，目前可游览长度5公里，其中地下河长1公里，深入地下108米。洞内气温无论春夏秋冬都是13℃。
 
银狐洞多层多支，主洞、支洞，横洞、竖洞，水洞、旱洞，纵横交错，蜿蜒曲折，是华北地区被发现的最大的洞穴系统，是一座名副其实的地下迷宫，即神奇诡谲，又雄伟壮观。洞内次生化学沉积物种类繁多，门类齐全，不仅有一般溶洞常见的石钟乳、石笋、石柱、石旗、石盾、石幔等碳酸钙化合沉积物，还有大量的石菊花、石珍珠、石葡萄、鹅管和晶莹剔透的方解石。尤为典型的是洞内众多的云盘、石梯田、石垄长城、仙田、晶化、边槽石坝均为全国溶洞之首。由针状、丝状、团状钙化胶结物组合而成的“银狐”， 造型奇特，晶莹洁白，美轮美奂，世所罕见，被誉为“世界第一岩溶奇观”、“中华国宝”。
 
卢沟桥（Lugou Bridge）亦作芦沟桥，在北京市西南约15千米处丰台区永定河上。因横跨卢沟河（即永定河）而得名，是北京市现存最古老的石造联拱桥。卢沟桥全长266.5米，宽7.5米，最宽处可达9.3米。有桥墩十座，共11个桥孔，整个桥身都是石体结构，关键部位均有银锭铁榫连接，为华北最长的古代石桥。1937年7月7日，日本帝国主义在此发动全面侵华战争。宛平城的中国驻军奋起抵抗，史称“卢沟桥事变”（亦称“七七事变”）。 中国抗日军队在卢沟桥打响了全面抗战的第一枪。
 
中国人民抗日战争纪念馆 在北京市丰台区宛平城城内街101号。1987年7月6日“七七事变”爆发50周年前夕落成。占地26万平方米。由邓小平题写馆名。由序厅、展厅、半景画馆三部分组成。陈列有1931年“九•一八事变”到1945年8月日本投降这一历史时期的抗战文物及图片资料。以声光结合立体画面再现了日军在卢沟桥的侵华罪行和中国军民奋起抗战的壮烈情景。
