After the AGM, please save the afternoon for a free panel discussion on “China’s Business Trends after the National People’s Congress” moderated by Ms Maria Siow, the East Asia bureau chief of Channel News Asia, Singapore. This programme is jointly organised by IE Singapore and SingCham.
We are pleased to have the following panelists:
l Mr Ignatius Lim: Group Director of IE Singapore and Advisor of SingCham
l Mr Goh Toh Sim: Chief Representative of Keppel Corporation Ltd, Beijing Representative Office
l Mr Lau Teck Sien: Director, Temasek Holdings Advisors (Beijing) Co., Ltd; and Vice-chairman of SingCham
l Mr Mao Daqing: Vice-President of China Vanke Co. Ltd
l Chinese economist(s): (To be confirmed)
As the National People’s Congress (NPC) draws to a close, it is inevitable that the business community will have to adapt to any new policies arising from the NPC. Audience will get to hear the insightful views and opinions of these prominent business elites and economists. The panel will explore the impact that the NPC has on the business landscape, as well as the evolving opportunities, challenges and developments in China.
The discussion panel encourages a close interaction between the audience and the speakers. It will be a great opportunity for Singaporeans and Singaporean businesses in China to network and benefit from the insights of the experts.
