The Singapore Chamber of Commerce and the Canada China Business Council cordially invite you to attend our IPR seminar titled “China: No IP, No Future”, presented by Mr. Horace Lam, Managing Partner, Beijing, Lovells LLP.

Many companies sink or swim on their intellectual property.  Contrary to the prevailing view, China has made great strides in strengthening its protection of intellectual property rights and now offers a great deal of protection.  The discussion will address the current intellectual property climate in China and recent developments in China's intellectual property legal regime.  There will be a focus on strategies for protecting and exploiting intellectual property rights in China and practical ways and legal tools to enforce intellectual property rights in China.  In addition, our speaker will share his years of on-the-ground experience in confronting intellectual property infringers in China.

This event is ideal for owners or managers of intellectual property rights, managers of businesses, inventors and entrepreneurs, those in business consultancy and other professional services. It will also be interesting for anyone with an interest in technology, intellectual property, patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
