With the fast development of Guangdong and the close collaboration relationship between Guangdong and Singapore, Guangdong-Singapore Bilateral Enterprise Council (GSBEC for short) is setting up with the objective to provide a platform for enterprises of Guangdong and Singapore to connect and network while the CCPIT Guangdong Council (CCOIC Guangdong) and SBF act as the bridge and conduit between them. The Inaugural Meeting of GSBEC is scheduled on 15 July, which would be a good oppertunity for Singapore companies operating in Guangdong to network with the Guangdong enterprises.

Mission and Key areas of Cooperation of GSBEC
Mission
The GSBEC is to unite and link large companies as well as small-and-medium sized companies of Guangdong and Singapore. Through sharing of experience, they may grow faster and stronger. As they grow stronger, they are able to compete, cooperate and seize new business opportunities in international market which leading to further prosperity of Guangdong and Singapore.
The GSBEC can also provide consultancy services and advisory support to enterprises in Guangdong and Singapore; through consultations, meditations and arbitration to help solve trade disputes amicably. GSBEC will also help and support enterprises participate in exhibitions and seminars, etc.
Key areas of cooperation
Finance, Information Technology, Electronics, Manufacturing, Construction Materials, Logistics, Environment Protection and Management, Urban Planning, Education, Healthcare, Business services, Tourism etc.
