Ms Sheu Ay Shin (许爱心) is SingCham's new Executive Director.
Ay Shin graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the National University of Singapore specialising in building construction and services. Upon graduation, she began her career with a property management company in Singapore. She later joined the public-listed Singapore Land where she became familiar with multinational business operations.
In 1996, she was posted to Beijing as the marketing manager of the Beijing Gateway Building, a Sino-Singapore property development joint-venture. She was later appointed the General Manager, and represented the foreign shareholders in securing an amicable deal selling their stakes to local partners.
Moving on, Ay Shin continued to work in China as a freelance consultant for foreign companies wanting to establish a presence in China. She assisted them in all aspects of their China startups, including local business registration, office setup, sourcing of land, construction of production facilities, staff recruitment, import and export customs procedures and numerous other matters and local requirements.

Outgoing Executive Director - Koh Chin Yee
"Chin Yee has been instrumental in helping shaped SingCham into a respected chamber in China. With his effort, SingCham reaches out beyond Beijing and sets up regional network including Jiangsu, Guangdong, Fujian, Jiangxi, and is working on Shanghai, Tianjin and Sichuan," said Ms Dorothy Seet.
