Speaker: Mr Ng Lee Tak, Senior Vice President, Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety and Managing Consultant, PSB Academy
Mr Ng is a Registered International Register of Certified Auditors (IRCA) Lead Auditor in Occupational Health & Safety Since 2003. He has more than 30 years in Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety (QEHS). In his years of working experiences with the Singapore Police Force and Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), he has been directly involved Military Training, Operations, Security, and Quality & Safety as well as assumed the role of Army Head Safety Inspection where he helped to develop and align the Army Safety Management System to that of OHSAS 1800, and has performed a wide range of regulatory compliance audits; environmental, health and safety assessments and audits; and security, fire and SARS inspection in Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Australia and Brunei.
In the last 5 years with PSB, he has grown the Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety and Security (QEHSS) products and services by developing new educational and professional programs collaborating with international bodies, like University of Newcastle, Australia, University of Sunderland, U.K, College of Teachers, IOSH and NEBOSH. He has assisted numerous multi-national and SME organizations in the Asia region to develop, implement and achieve certification to ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001. This includes organizations such as Kuritec, ECO, Singapore International Airlines, Vopak, Bipolis, MacDonald Restaurants, MOS Foods, Hytech Construction, Rohm & Hass, Schering Plough, Kuwait Oil Company, Singapore General Hospital among others.
Mr Ng graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health & Safety (Distinction) from Curtin University of Technology, Australia and Master of Arts in Educational Management from National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University
