The Singapore Chamber of Commerce & Industry in China (SingCham) is deeply saddened to learn about the widespread damage caused by the earthquake in Wenchuan of Sichuan on May 12. Our hearts go out to the victims and people of China who have been affected by the disaster, said Ms Dorothy Seet, Chairman, SingCham China.
 
On behalf of the Singaporean community in China, SingCham has made an initial donation of RMB 120,000 to the victims of the Sichuan Earthquake on May 14, morning.
 
We appeal to all members and friends, and the Singaporean community in China to donate generously to the victims.
 
SingCham will coordinate the donate drive with the Singapore communities in Beijing, Fujian, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Liaoning, Shandong, Shanghai, Sichuan, etc.
 
We strongly believe that with resilience, the Chinese people will certainly recover from this disaster.
 
We wish all who are affected a speedy recovery.

中国新加坡商会5月14日早上代表新加坡在华社群向四川地震灾区捐助首批捐款12万元人民币，并号召在华新加坡社群踊跃捐款捐物，支援灾区人民。
 
商会将协同北京、福建、广东、江苏、江西、辽宁、山东、上海、四川等地新加坡社群，踊跃捐款捐物。
 
我们坚信，秉着中国人民坚韧不拔的精神，灾区人民一定能恢复正常生产生活。
