SingCham arranged for a group of 13 Hwa Chong Institute students to do a short-term industrial internship in Beijing from 9-14 April.

The students, who are in Beijing for an immersion programme under the bi-cultural programme scholarship, are attached to Singapore-related enterprises such as Ascott, Beijing Smart Garments, Beijing International School of Singapore (BISS) and the SingCham Secretariat Office. Such attachment enables them to experience first-hand working life in China.

This is the second time SingCham arranged for students' internship. The previous attachment lasted two weeks in December 2007.
